According to the previous findings Skopje’s Old Bazaar wasbuilt in XII century as a place for “big events and fairs with Dubrovnik merchants as the main players in trade exchange”. It rises in the middle of XV century as well established functional urban unit and grown into a place that have lived and pulsated as a center of crafts, trade, traffic, as the main driving force of the economic and overall life of Skopje, a place where all roads have been leading. Today, even small part of the big “city conglomerate”, the Old Bazaar represents an integral and irreplaceable part of modern Skopje whose impulses of its contemporary life still feel in a specific way.
